PeptideVisualizer is a tool for visualization of SDS-PAGE migration rates and mass spectrometry data to reveal proteolytic processing in complex biological samples. The principle originates from the PROTOMAP
1 algorithm with several key improvements:
- introduction of a novel mismatch factor making the detection of proteolysis easier
- enables input data from generated by MaxQuant's peptides.txt table2
- analysis of quantitative data by integrating intensities or LFQ intensities for interpretation
- support for comparing multiple conditions with multiple replicates
- visualization of protein features from UniProt
